Current project....a warm up!!!

I always have projects going on, don't fret about that. But, I don't always post them. Well, I plan on getting better with that....

I have snowflakes I've been making that have to get washed (some again :-(...) and starched (and some sent out...to Malta....:-D). My current BIG project is a shrug.....what's a shrug you ask? Well, here's links to a few examples....

This one's the basic idea I'm working from. I'm not doing ANYTHING just exactly like it. I'm making this to be a WARM shrug---something to keep me warm when I'm around the house. Cause this house leaks like a shive! So I'm using my favorite stitch...the basketweave. It takes a bit longer than even single crochet it seems, but it will be nice and warm. My other favorite, the trinity (from 63 Afghan Squares), would probably take almost as long. Hmm....but that's an idea, to use on the arms or something....anyhow...I'm measuring from my elbows, I'm imagining sleeves that will be easy to fold back or something, and out of the way for when I cook, need them to be, but that I can have over my hands when I need to keep them warm :-)

All that for....http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6750

Great place to hang out too :-D
